The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of the college, a statutory body under the Higher education guidelines of Mahatma Gandhi, University Kottayam, Kerala forms an integral part of the college parent teaching community catering to the academic as well as infrastructural excellence of the institution in total. It is a body constituted strictly as per the guidelines dictated by the University for PTA in aided arts and science colleges in the state by involving the parent as well as teaching executives nominated by the college parent-teacher general body. The body is led by the college Principal who takes charge as the PTA president besides being constituted by office bearers viz. Secretary, joint secretary, Vice president and Treasurer.
The modus operandi of PTA is to prepare and propose the annual budget including the projects to be implemented based on the need and priority in the executive committee first and thereafter its judicious implementation with a well-structured accounting and an auditing system. It also emphasizes and encourages the recognition of students at the academic as well as extracurricular level encompassing activities viz. Sports, NCC , NSS and so on. The scholarship schemes that the PTA envisages include students of all categories so as to enrich and ensure their active participation across all spheres bringing laurels and accolades to the institution.
