On this occasion, Dr. Sanu Thomas, (HOD), addressed the students about the importance of Hindi language. Dr. Sunil Jacob, Principal of this College gave the presidential address on this occasion and mentioned the rich history and the tradition of Hindi language and literature. Dr. Sheena Eapen was the Chief Guest of the programme. She addressed, “This day is celebrated to promote and spread the culture and the importance of Hindi language.” She told students to read Hindi books to improve their knowledge of Hindi. 50 students with the entire staff of the department were present. The compeering of the program was done by Aparnaraj P R – II MA student and concluded with vote of thanks, proposed by Dr. Laija P J, Coordinator of the programme. All the faculty members took efforts to make the program successful.
