A class on writing in sciences was organised for degree and PG students of Zoology department. The class aimed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively communicate scientific information to various audiences. Liji Koshy, HoD of Zoology delivered welcome speech. The program was inaugurated by Sindu Jones, Principal, Catholicate College Patahanmthitta.
The class covered different scientific writing styles, including research articles, review articles, and abstracts. Students learned the importance of clear and concise writing in scientific communication, including the use of simple language and avoidance of jargon. The class on writing in sciences provided students with valuable skills and knowledge necessary for effective scientific communication. By emphasizing clarity, concision, and accuracy, the class helped students become better scientific writers and communicators
