The programme was arranged on zoom platform at 6.00 pm on 04/06/2021. All the students and teachers of the department have participated. Dr Philipose Omman, College Principal addressed the meeting. Theme introduction of this year's environment day was by Sri. Varghese C Thomas (Senior Editor, Malayala Manorama, Pathanamthitta). The keynote address was made by Dr George Thomas, Chairman, Kerala State Biodiversity Board. As part of the environment day observance, a photographic competition was arranged for the students of the department and the names of the winners were announced in the programme. Akshara Mohandas of D3 and M.S. Lakshmi from Final year PG bagged the first and second positions respectively. There is a video presentation of the Portrait drawing of Chief Guest Dr. George Thomas by Miss. Divya Udayan, First Year BSc Botany. The meeting ended at 7.30 pm.
