The Department of Malayalam of Catholicate College, in collaboration with the Sport Ayurveda Centre, organized a one-day IKS (Indian Knowledge System) awareness programme on 14 August 2025. The event aimed to familiarize students with the richness of India’s traditional knowledge heritage, especially its profound contributions to Ayurveda. Dr. Kannan Rajeev, an Ayurvedic doctor, served as the chief guest and delivered an enlightening talk on the importance of IKS in modern society. Students actively participated in the sessions and engaged in discussions on various aspects of Indian knowledge traditions. The programme concluded with positive feedback, especially appreciating the valuable insights shared by Dr. Kannan Rajeev on the relevance of IKS today.
