A class on Ace your tests was organised for degree and PG students of Zoology department in online mode. The "Ace Your Test" session aimed to provide students with strategies and techniques to excel in their upcoming exams. The session covered topics such as time management, stress reduction, and effective studying methods. Liji Koshy, HoD of Zoology delivered welcome speech.
Students learned how to prioritize tasks, create study schedules, and manage their time effectively during exams. The session discussed techniques for managing stress and anxiety, including deep breathing, positive self-talk, and visualization. Students were introduced to active learning techniques, such as summarizing notes, creating concept maps, and practicing past exams.
Students were advised to familiarize themselves with the exam format, including the type of questions, duration, and any specific rules or instructions. Practicing past exams was recommended as a way to build confidence, identify areas for improvement, and develop effective time management strategies. Students were encouraged to keep their study materials organized, including notes, textbooks, and practice exams.
