A seminar on Pet diseases was organised by PG and Research Department of Zoology for MDC and Degree Students.

The main aim of the program was to give an idea on different pet disease, its symptoms and treatment. Liji Koshy, HoD of Zoology Iaugurated the program. The class was mainly aimed for MDC students.
The class discussed about common Pet Diseases, Zoonotic Diseases and its prevention and control. The importance of regular vaccinations to prevent infectious diseases and regular Veterinary check-ups for maintaining pet health and detecting potential issues early
The class also discussed about the regular checks and preventative measures to reduce the risk of parasite-related health issues and good hygiene hractices like washing hands regularly, especially after handling pets or their waste
