Extension Activities

1. Vermicomposting in the campus using the pit method and pot method.
2. Blood donation camp are conducting every year.
3. Sale of honey continued (Bottled honey are collected from the trained farmers and marketed)
4. Sale of ‘Chitone’ (‘Chitone’, a product of Matsyafed is being marketed by the Department)
5. Water quality testing in the nearby villages and provided with safety measures to get safe drinking water.

Consultancy service

Consultancy services in ornamental fish breeding and rearing; and making of low cost aquarium tanks are provided by the Department.

Satellite centre

The department has been identified as satellite centre for culture and breeding by the KAVIL
