Excellence in Higher education is of vital importance to the whole education system today. Six years of re-accreditation is in fact a time to make an objective analysis of the excellence of the college in all spheres of activities - curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular. Keeping pace with the changing trends in the higher education scenario, Catholicate College re-engineers and upgrades its activities during every academic year.
A number of events signify the milestones of quality assurance. The ways and means to improve the quality of education by the management, the teaching, non teaching faculty, the students and parents are chalked out with the utmost care and implemented meticulously and effectively. I wish and hope that more innovative practices be applied in various programmes on the campus leading to quality enhancement
The initiative of the college staff council, the IQAC, the R&D cell, and the career guidance cell needs to be mentioned here. Participatory and appropriate measures have been taken at every level to implement the action plan of the department with a focus on the mission and vision of Catholicate College. While making use of learning and career opportunities, we shall not ignore temper of learning with wisdom, with a socially committed, ethically aware deployment of knowledge and skills.
